A striking Georgian oval memorial ring set with old mine cut cushion diamonds surrounding a glass locket with plaited hair. The ring is set in silver and gold circa 1760-80 to a plain cigar shaped band. Inscribed on the reverse "Thy worth I knew. Thy loss deplore". There has been a subtle repair on the side of the shank. The total carat weight of diamonds is approximately 2.2 carats. This is a very beautiful ring.
