Decorated with beautiful, rich, vibrant purple and green paste, this eye-catching, adorable ring displays natural motifs including shells. At this period in time gold was exceedingly expensive (looks like we’re living through a similar period) and much of the jewelry was delicately made to stretch the gold as far as it could go. Unlike many rings from the 1820s, this fine ring is rather heavy and substantial. Excellent antique condition. Perfect for stacking but striking on its own as well.
