excellent, rare antique collar necklace fully crafted in 18ct yellow gold, with moveable panels each emblazoned with a cut-out star, the chain fastened by a simple hook clasp. To the back of the middle panel is a small loop, allowing for a pendant or locket to be attached. A stunning Victorian piece in excellent antique condition. Circa 1880's. Unmarked, tested as 18ct gold. The length of the chain measures approximately 41cm / 16 inches. The width of the chain measures approximately 15.3mm. The approximate weight is 44.5 grams. CONDITION: In excellent antique condition, with some light surface wear commensurate with age. The clasp functions perfectly. There is one bead with a small dent as shown in the last photo.
