David Anderson Guilloché Enamel Necklace
A lovely green guilloché enamel lily pad necklace designed by Finn Jensen for David Anderson set in silver gilt circa 1950-60, each leaf marked on the back "Norway Sterling 925 with a triangle". The triangle was the personal stamp of Finn Jensen. Each leaf is beautifully made with vein detailing and a slight curve to mimic the actual waterlily leaf. The clasp is a silver gilt bolt ring. Finn Jensen was a Norwegian gold and silversmith who was active from the 1940s. Initially apprenticed to J. Tostrup he then became a a licensed goldsmith and opened a company which was named Jensen and Aamodt. In 1953 Jensen became the sole proprietor and the company was renamed Finn Jensen. The workshop continued after his death in 1976.
