Antique Victorian Amethyst Pearl Brooch This elegant brooch is a fine example of Victorian craftsmanship, formed in a floral design with 9 vibrant amethysts and lustrous creamy seed pearl petals. To the reverse the brooch is fitted with a pin and a safety chain for added security. There is also a hook to attach a fob or drop for an alternative appearance. Weight: 7.30gm. Tested as 9ct gold. Measurements: 3cm x 3cm (1 1/4″ x 1 1/4″) The brooch is in very good condition and dates from the late Victorian era. It would have been the height of fashion at the time and is very versatile adding style and glamour to an outfit.
