Vintage 10kt yellow gold thimble, decorated with a fanciful & lovely engraved design has been made into a striking pendant with the addition of a gold bail. A 6mm 14k jump ring has been added to bail. The initials “JD” have been engraved into one of the cartouches. This will arrive in the antique thimble case shown. Signs of light wear, surface scratches. Thimble is not marked, but tested by my jeweler to be 10 karat gold. Circa late 1800s-early 1900s. Case is covered in green cloth and is from W. T. Hixson Co, The Jewelers, El Paso, Texas.
