Inscribed to the Front Colonel Norths "Fullerton" Winner of the Waterloo Cup consecutive Years in succession 1889 and 1890 The Back is Signed ‘E.A Sparches March 1890’ and Inscribed - This Dog was sold to Colonel North For 850 Guineas which is the equivalent of £ 140,000 today. “Colonel" John Thomas North Was Known As the Nitrate King Because He Made His Fortune from Bird Droppings From Chile which were used as fertiliser and in the manufacture of gunpowder. Measures - 6 "x 6" England 1890 Good antique condition
