Stunning and very unusual Sighthound Clock set inside a Glass Dome. The dog seems to be made from Spelter and ebonized as it were. The clock can be wound up and ticks away but in a very cranky fashion. To be functional it needs attention, but I bought this piece from France because it was beautiful to look at even if the clock is not in full working order. 19th century.
