Delightful Boxwood example of a bird, presumably a Parrot Snuff box, French, c.1800. Lovely patination, decorative detailing of the beak, eyes, mouth, feathers on wings and tail and those feet/claws. what is very accomplished is the head is carved at a jaunty angle showing true carvers skill.
